History - Our Department
The Department has three members of staff. The main aim of the Department is to encourage a lifelong interest in History.
Students in First and Second Year follow a common course, which is in line with the 5-14 Guidelines.
In Third and Fourth Year, students follow the Standard Grade course, with the emphasis on Modern History.
In Fifth and Sixth Year, students can study Intermediate 2, the Higher course or the Advanced Higher Course.
Optional Fieldwork: S3 to the Battlefields of France & Belgium.
