Art and Design S3/S4
Art and Design Intermediate 2, Intermediate1, Access 3
Course Outline:
The course will run over two sessions. Initially this will be at Intermediate 2 level. Differentiation between Intermediate 2, Intermediate 1 and Access level will take place at the end of S3.

Practical Course Work:
- Expressive + Art Studies
- Design + Design Studies
- Art and Design Studies Examination – 1 hr (Int 2 only)
In S3 there will be a period of skill building and induction before tackling the Units in S4.
In S4 there will be a written prelim in January preparation for the Exam Diet in May.
What is expected of you?
You are expected to adopt a mature approach to the course. It is not an ‘easy’ option and you will be expected to word hard and think for yourself.
You will get out of the course what you put into it. If you give of your best you will find it both worthwhile and enjoyable.
