School Trips
There are a number of trips run by the school over the course of academic year.
In previous years, our S6 students have gone on team building trips which can take them to France and Belgium. Other trips to venture abroad are our French Exchange visit to Limoges and our History trip to the battlefields. Senior History students have visited Germany and some of the World War Two concentration camps. Each year the ski trip heads off for the mountains of Europe chasing the snow.
Closer to home Geography students visit the Lake District and puff and pant their way up the Grey Mares Tail. Biologists have visited the Botanic Gardens and Edinburgh Zoo. Our English Department have theatre visits, as well as trips to hear well known authors at local book festivals.
Individual classes often decide to run evening outings to bowling alleys or to the cinema with their form teacher and guidance teacher. Each year the PE Department take a group of students to watch Scotland play rugby at Murrayfield
